Choir at Christmas Big Sing in Oxford

On Thursday 28th November the choir went into Oxford to take part in the Christmas Big Sing.

They sang some Christmas songs and carols alongside a number of other schools and also performed their own song.

They sounded amazing - they were loud, confident and enthusiastic. Well done to the choir and to Miss Bowden for working hard with them.

It definitely got us all into the Christmas spirit while also raising much needed funds for the charity Christian Aid.

Stanford’s Got Talent

On Thursday 23rd January we held our own Stanford's Got Talent.

Lots of children from across the school wowed us with their talent. We had singers, dancers, gymnasts, comedians and piano players. They were all amazing and demonstrated such confidence.

Well done to all the children, you were true stars! A big thank you to the Year 6 team of children who were stage hands, in charge of the tech and comperes. You made sure the performance flowed smoothly along.

Many thanks to Mr Woodman for organising the music, mics and sound and helping with the final audition.

A big thank you to Miss Rogers for organising and running the whole performance, it was magical.

Finally, many thanks to FOSS for doing refreshments and organising sweet treats for the performers.
